In the spirit of everyone else having lists of what is going on in their lives and what they are learning (Bowden, Kiki, and Wade--I too, have a list of what I have learned since moving to Charlotte. But I decided to be a little different and I have 9 things that I have learned about my new town: 9. Charlotte does not have a downtown--it is "UPTOWN" 8. Traffic is no where near as bad as Atlanta! 7. People take BBQ seriously (every non-profit has a BBQ fundraiser) 6. Cheerwine is non-alcoholic 5. There is a civil war between South Charlotte and North Charlotte (over the interstate) 4. Charlotte is a great sports town (not just NASCAR) 3. The weather is great! (better than hot and hotter in Mobile) 2. Charlotte is a fun place to live 1. People need Jesus here just like everywhere else!
