My Nomination for SBC President..........
I have an important announcement to make. I have decided on my endorsment and nomination for SBC President.
I nominate "NONE OF THE ABOVE!"
You may ask why? Well, it seems that in recent years there have been a small group of people who decide ahead of time who should be the next President. Only Jim Henry had the nerve to run against these hand picked men. We need another Jim Henry. We need someone who will speak for those of us who want to actually "COOPERATE."
So unless we have a candidated step forward that is a visionary leader who can unite those of us who feel left out, then I see no better candidate than "NONE OF THE ABOVE."

Of course, in case anybody questions me on my integrity, I should admit- I'm kidding. Or, for the same of some weaker brethren, I kiddeth.
We need a North Carolinian with a heart for the lost and the conviction of integrity.

If the man you are talking about decided to run, YES! I would vote for him.
However, he told me he wasn't running.
Or random selection ... names in a hat as you enter the younger leader meeting. At the end of the meeting ... whoever gets drawn 1st, 2nd, 3rd are nominated President, 1st VP and 2nd VP ...
Seems fair :)
Oh and Kevin, I think I heard they were going to establish a BBQ Subcommittee for the coming year, I'll be sure to put a good word in for you being appointed Chairman.
I propose a BBQ eating grudge match. The winner gets to be prez!
