Sad death of Superman's wife....
I don't know her personally, but I had a lot of respect for Dana Reeve. She was the wife of the late Christopher Reeve (Superman). I don't know what her relationship with God was, but she displayed the Biblical principles of marriage. After her husband's tragic horse jumping accident, Dana Reeve stuck by her husband's side. She did not bail out on their marriage eventhough many would have. She stayed in it until his death.
Sadly Dana Reeve passed away from cancer yesterday at the age of 44. STORY HERE. Survivors include a teenage son, Will, and two stepchildren, Matthew and Alexandra.
I will pray for her family. I also pray the church wakes up and realizes that God called us to honor our marriages in sickness and health-until death we part!

Saw that this morning. I was drawn to the look in her eyes as she looked at her husband after five years of being paralyzed. Her love and commitment was evident.
You are so right about taking vows seriously. Someone close was commenting how obvious it was that she was not staying with Christopher out of "some sense of duty or obligation." I just wonder why there is a difference between love and a sense of commitment and duty?
