I'm torn................

I have a confession to make. I am torn about the NFC Championship tomorrow. I have been a Shaun Alexander fan since he was a freshman at Alabama. He single-handedly helped Bama win the SEC Championship his senior year. This year he won the NFL MVP award. A few weeks ago I said I don't promote Christian athletes. OK, I still love his Godly example off the field. He signs every autograph with Psalm 37:4 (NIV)
Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.
But now I live in Charlotte, NC. I have liked the Panthers since they came into the NFL. Kindell Morehead is a Bama grad too. Also Karl Hankston lives just down the street from us and he has been very kind to Jacob and all of the children in our neighborhood. So tomorrow I will cheer for the Panthers to win but I hope Shaun has 100+ yards and a TD. Then after the season, I want the Panthers to sign him as a free agent so I can see him play here in Charlotte.

Be a good Baptist. Stick with what you've always known! You gotta support your Bama boy.

And I am pulling for my Louisiana native quarterback, Jake Delhomme. Go Panthers!

I hope Jake Delhomme has an awesome game! I predict Panthers 24-21 win. Steve Smith 2 TD catches and Ricky Prohel (sp?) another. Shaun Alexander will score 2 TD's but come up short. The Panthers sign Alexander as a free agent in the off-season.

All that matters is the Broncos game. What's with all you southerners?

I had the Shaun Alexander part right - 2 TD's. He is awesome. Sorry the Panthers lost, but I will pull for the Seahawks in the Super Bowl.

Go Hawks! Every time I move from a city, within a year they seem to go all the way, This year I moved to DFW fro SEA, go hawks. I moved from Toronto to MPLS, Blue Jays win, MPLS to Sea, Twins win. I don't expect to live in DFW for too long so maybe the cowboys have a chance in the next couple of years.
By the way, SA is a big time christian. He goes to Casey Treat's church (don't hold that against him). Nice guy too!
