SBC acquires rights to Gordy Gecko!

The Southern Baptist Convention has bought the rights to Gordy Gecko from GEICO Insurance. They traded Psalty the Singing Songbook, Bibleman and a character to be named later.
Gordy Gecko has been brought on to start a nationwide bus tour promoting evangelism and discipleship among SBC churches. The program is called "15 Minutes." It is designed to appeal to younger SBC'ers. The slogan for "15 Minutes" is "15 Minutes or Less Can Your Soul by Switching to Jesus."When asked about his new role, Gordy Gecko said,
"It is my job to help spread the woooooord......"An insider said they hope that Gordy will appeal to the TV age. Gordy Gecko finished his press conference by stating,
"It is my job to save souls for Jesus, I love my job."

Actually, I find Gordy the Gecko more motivational than some of the other spokesmen.
