I know, I know you are thinking its all about the coffee. No, I love Starbucks because of the people I meet. Today was a great example. I did my Bible study and Alan Armstrong from Christ Anglican came in and hung out with me. He is a great guy and introduced me to many Christian leaders in Mobile. Then our cardiologist who goes to Alan's church sat down with us. Then Todd McGee and Dave Chatel from The Grove UMC came by and we had a great time talking. There are also the employees that I have been building relationships with and have shared my testimony with a few. The man I shared with on Monday was there also. I wish church could be more like my experience @ Starbucks. You come in and feel great about yourself and others. I study the Bible, so I grow in my faith. I have more deep conversations @ Starbucks then I do @ church! Ouch! Why is that? I think it is the atmosphere. It is a place that is built for relationships. The church needs to study places like Starbucks to find out why people love it!
