Proverbs 15:22 (NIV) Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed. Vision is essential. Without it people fail. How can we make plans without a vision. Sometimes I think that people just stick their finger up in the air and decide what to do based on the way the wind blows. Politicians look to the polls to decide what to do. That is bunk! A true leader has a vision and goes for it. Sometimes they do fail, but at least they are moving. Solomon was the wisest man ever and he asked God for wisdom over wealth and God gave him both. Look at the Gulf coast for an example of no vision. The mayor of New Orleans had a plan to evacuate but he didn't even go by his own plan. The Governor of LA tried to negotiate with the Federal government about who would be in control if the National Guard and Regular military came in. The Feds just screwed up! What they need is Rudolph Giuliani! Even as I was writing this another minister called for wisdom from me. Man, we need wisdom, we need vision. Because if we don't find it we will fail. I am so grateful for the Godly wisdom I get from my family and friends. I am who I am because of God and my family and friends.
