Wow! Have we seen suffering first hand. Our church is a shelter for those from South Mobile, Miss and LA. People have nothing left. Now some people are pulling knives on people in our community because they are desperate. Things here are scary. Gas lines are long and tempers are high. Some of our youth and my family went out and passed out ice cold water bottles to people waiting lines at gas stations. It was so cool to see how people changed as they were shown the love of Jesus. Our true colors show in times of stress. Most people have been caring but it is amazing how many people only think of themselves. We have damage to our house but nothing like those people in South Mobile, Miss and LA. I am grateful for what I have not what I do not have.
