There are actually people who don't like Starbucks. How misguided! The mission of Delocator.net is to assist the public in finding and supporting independently owned cafés. On the results page for each search, listings of both independently owned cafés and Starbucks retail stores are presented. By comparison of quantity and user-created information, Delocator.net users will be able to make an informed decision about spending a buck (or three) on a cup of joe.
This conspiracy is egregious! The horror of sending someone to another place than Starbucks. I'm sure Adam Feldman is behind this. We thought the Da Vinci code was bad--this is worse!

Kevin, they not only tore down the Conoco at Grelot and Hillcrest to build a Starbucks, but they're almost done with a new location in front of Bel Air Mall by the Lifeway.
Lifeway and Starbucks next door. It must be a suburbanite's dream.
They just dug out a big plot of dirt near my apartment complex within walking distance. The sign next to the construction site shows the plan is for a line of about six little stores in which one often finds a Starbucks. No signs on what will actually be in the shopping area. Do you think it is wrong to pray for one of the stores to be a Starbucks? :)
So can you people cooperate with someone who prefers, say, Seattle's Best, or is this an essential for you?
;-)
wes, seattle's best is owned by starbucks now. (not kidding.)
kevin, we're in a war. a war for really good coffee. coffee that is not over-roasted. espresso shots that are pulled and measured by hand and not fabricated by machinery to bland, all-the-same, mcdonald's-esque ford-factory-assembly-line espresso shots. yes, i stand up for the downtrodden, the sweat-blood-and-tears local coffee shop. when i step foot into a starbucks, i nod my head in appreciation for what they have accomplished in bringing coffee to the masses. and i grieve. i grieve for the countless millions who drink over-priced-over-roasted coffee each day. so, i purchase a strawberries and creme frappe or a blackberry and green tea frappe because they are oh, so, dad-gum good.
(and, no, i'm not behind that website. what a stinkin' great idea though! can we talk about bbq, now?? or BAMA football!!??)
Wes,
Adam is right Seattle's Best is owned by Starbucks.
Adam,
I will get back to BBQ just for you.
FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDOOOOMMMMM!!!!!!
(It just felt right, after Adam's powerful locker room/war speech.)
